This is a free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service from AARP, designed to help low-to-middle income taxpayers with attention to those age 50 and over, to file their personal income tax returns.
You need NOT be a member of AARP to receive these tax preparation services.

Elizabeth LaBan lives in Philadelphia with her restaurant critic husband and two children. She is the author of The Restaurant Critic’s Wife which was published by Lake Union, the young adult novel The Tragedy Paper, published by Knopf, which has been translated into eleven foreign languages, The Grandparents Handbook, published by Quirk Books, which has been translated into seven foreign languages, and Pretty Little World, which she co-authored with Melissa DePino.  

She is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Newsday and The Times-Picayune, among other publications. She also ghost writes a weekly column, and has ghost written two books.

The Let’s Discuss It Author Series is a joint partnership of the Upper Dublin and Wissahickon Valley Public Libraries

Info Session: Citizenship Preparation Class

 *NOTE: There are 2 information sessions, 2 PM and 7 PM.  Choose ONE time to attend that is convenient for you.  Keystone Opportunity will be available to answer questions at both times. 

Have you thought about becoming a U.S. Citizen? We can prepare you for FREE!  

There is more to becoming a citizen than knowing the 100 Questions!  You must also be able to do the following in English:

  • Take an oath
  • Fully understand the N-400 application
  • Read and write sentences in English.

 Interested participants are encouraged to attend this information session about A FREE 12-week course forming now at Wissahickon Valley Public Library in Blue Bell.  The course is being offered through Keystone Opportunity Center of Souderton.  Class will be scheduled for late January/early February based on interest and participation.
