Learn what acupuncture can do for you from a doctor of Eastern & Western Medicine. Dr. Minchun Chen, a licensed acupuncturist certified in the United States, currently practices in private practice and at the Won Institute (Glenside, PA). She is a professor at the Won Institute, which includes the only Master’s Degree program for acupuncture in Pennsylvania. Dr. Chen graduated from the Nanjing Medical University with an MD degree in 1982 and her Ph.D. (1994) exploring disease-causing genes for Graves disease and diabetes at the Johannes Gutenberg University.

A glimpse of the collection at Woodmere Art Museum in historic Chestnut Hill Philadelphia comes to WVPL with a presentation of Women Artists of Woodmere.   The Woodmere collection focuses solely on the art and artists of the Philadelphia region honoring the love of art and commitment to the community of its founder Charles Knox Smith (1845 – 1916).
