An Afternoon of Opera and American Songbook

This unique interactive concert combines music, opera and literature within the idyllic setting of one of Lower Gwynedd Township's most beautiful parks, Penllyn Woods. The performance features accomplished opera singer, soprano Iris Fairfax accompanied by pianist Gabriel Rebolla. Both are performers with the Fort Washington-based opera company, Opera North, Inc. Ms. Fairfax will entertain and engage the audience through music and conversation. The event is free and open to the public. Children (6+), families, adults and all music lovers welcome. DIRECTIONS FROM LIBRARY to Penllyn Woods:
Turn right from Library lot onto Route 73/Skippack Pike. Make first left onto Penllyn-Blue Bell Pike (Blue Bell Inn intersection). In 1 3/4 miles, make the first left after Lantern Lane onto Township Line Road. Follow the signs through the neighborhood to Penllyn Woods Community Building.
