It's a magical time of year. Wondering what you can do to enjoy it more fully while discovering a new way to increase strength, balance and stability?   Explore Alexander Technique, an innovative posture training program widely used by people in the performing arts.  This special workshop will feature a brief introduction to Alexander Technique folowed by a guided meditation accompanied by LIVE harp music. 

 You won't want to miss this unique and deeply restorative experience!  With Alexander Technique, you CAN learn to change old habits of movement, release muscular tension throughout your body and move with balance and renewed ease.

If you’ve take an 8-hour Driver Safety Training class within the last 3 years, you can earn a 5% insurance discount by taking a Driver Safety Refresher class. Bring a driver’s license and a check made payable to AARP for $15 for AARP members or $20 for non-members. Stop by the library to sign up. No lunch break is scheduled; however bring a snack if you like.

* Most blood donors can donate blood every 56 days. You will be eligible to donate at our blood drive on July 12 as long as your last blood donation was made no later than May 17. 
* Power Red donors: If you are a “power red” (double red cell) donor, you must wait 112 days between donations. In order to be eligible to donate at our blood drive on July 12, you must have made your last power red donation no later than March 22.
* The minimum age to donate blood is 16, with parental permission; no permission is needed for anyone over 16. A parental consent form can be found here.
* Do you have a question about your eligibility to donate blood due to medication, travel, or other concerns? You can learn more about eligibility requirements here, or call the American Red Cross Donor Client Support Center at 866-236-3276 to speak directly to a representative.

The Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive was created as a way of "giving back" to the blood donor community that made it possible for Carol to receive all of the blood and platelet transfusions she needed during her treatment for cancer. Our mission is to help other patients and their families spend more time together by doing our part to ensure that blood products are always available for those who need them. Our goal is to help the blood donors at our drives have an enjoyable and positive donation experience.
