Meet with a trained volunteer counselor to help you understand what Medicare does and does not cover; your options concerning Medicare HMOs, supplemental insurance, and Part D prescription drug plans.  Also learn about special assistance programs available to low-income recipients or problem-solve about your current benefits.

Barbara Rutberg, a state trained APPRISE Medicare volunteer counselor and retired medical/legal consultant who worked in medical office management.  Ms. Rutberg will provide you with FREE and UNBIASED information about Medicare eligibility and choices.

Please sign up for this presentation at the library or by calling 610-834-1040 ext 59.

This event will be held in the staff conference room at Blue Bell.

APPRISE is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help older Pennsylvanians with Medicare. APPRISE is sponsored by Montgomery County RSVP and is part of the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP).

Please Note:      Information Session is about Medicare, not the Affordable Care Act.

Event location:

The Trip to Spain

Join us on the first Wednesday of the month at Ambler Theater for the afternoon showing of The Trip to Spain.

British comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon drive along the Spanish coastline to chronicle high-end restaurants and historical sights. As in their past two Trip films, their dialogue is largely improvised, and the posturing, one-upmanship, and incessant celebrity impersonations balance more serious discussions and existential musings. Stunning scenery and fantastic food provide a vicarious vacation.
