This workshop is hands-on, providing participants with step-by-step instruction and helpful hints for drawing.  In a fun and positive atmosphere, children are encouraged and empowered as they explore a variety of themes, including funny faces, comical critters, and super heroes.  Mr. David has an array of cool resources for further inspiration. 


For ages 8 and up.

DIY Spa Workshop for A Parent & Child Duo May 9 at 7 PM

Whitpain Township Parks and Recreation is sponsoring A Mother’s Day DIY Spa Workshop and the library is hosting!

Moms, grandmoms, daughters, sons - dads and granddads, too, join us! Learn to make all-natural lip balms, soap and bath bombs during this hands-on workshop for a parent and child duo.  Our Instructor will bring all the materials you will need to make your own products sourced from nature to enjoy or to give.

Instructor: Marsha Gayl, Registered Horticultural Therapist (HTR)

Marsha is recognized as a Registered Horticultural Therapist by the American Horticultural Therapy Association.  Marsha provides Horticultural therapy programming for senior living communities, floral design programs for the general public, and gardening and nature programs for children, as well as currently runs a program at Belmont Hospital Northeast.
