See cartoonist Paul Merklein draw famous cartoon characters that entertain everyone at the Wissahickon Valley Public Library on Saturday, March 10 at 2:00pm!

Mr. Merklein tours around the country, entertaining and inspiring kids and adults.
Join us for a fun night to enjoy cartoon art, audience participation, and hilarious comedy!

This event is free for kids and families of all ages.

You do not need to bring your own drawing pad, but you may if you wish.

The limit for this event is 50 people. If you register for a ticket, your attendance is expected
as we are holding the seat specifically for you. If you know you cannot make it to the event after registering your ticket,
please call and let us know so that we can open up your spot for someone else as we want everyone a chance
to enjoy our special guest as much as possible. THANK YOU!

Experience Star Wars characters live, in full costume on February 24th from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  They will be testing your Star Wars trivia, so come prepared!  Characters are members of Garrison Carida of the 501st Legion.  You won't want to miss this!  Carpooling is recommended!

Chinese New Year for Children and Teens

The Greater Philadelphia Chinese Cultural Center will give a presentation on how the Chinese New Year is celebrated and talk about Chinese culture.  This event is free for children and families of all ages.  There will be another celebration, advertised for adults, on February 22.  Celebrate with us at WVPL!

Denine Wish of Mermaid Art Studios returns to Ambler for a beginner's painting class. We'll be doing a Valentine's Day themed painting using a poem and a picture.  Bring your own poem or select one of three we will have here.  This event is FREE. For adults and teens.

Who is Invited:

Students and/or parents interested in learning about how students can become a Rotary Exchange student.  Students must be age 15 to 19 during their exchange year.

Families wanting to learn how they can become a host family for Rotary Exchange Student


A short overview of the Rotary International Long Term & Short Term Exchange Programs with Rotary District 7430 Youth Exchange Chairpersons & a panel of current & past Exchange Students & host families
