An Evening with Dorothea Benton Frank

Friday, June 14 at 7:00 pm at Science Center Theater (SC213), Montgomery County Community College, 340 Dekalb Pike in Blue Bell

Join us for an evening with New York Times bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank as she discusses her newly released novel Queen Bee, the latest book in her Lowcountry series and her twentieth novel to date (published by Harper Collins/May 28, 2019.)

Set on Frank’s beloved Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina “Queen Bee is a classic Lowcountry Tale—warm, wise and hilarious, it roars with humanity and a dropperful of whodunit added for good measure by an unseen hand. In her twentieth novel, Dorothea Benton Frank brings us back to her beloved island with an unforgettable story where the Lowcountry magic of the natural world collides with the beat of the human heart.” – Harpercollins.com

TICKETS are $30 (includes a hardback copy of Queen Bee) and are available for purchase online at frank2019.brownpapertickets.com.  Author Q&A, and additional books for sale to follow.

Born and raised on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina where most of her novels take place, Dorothea Benton Frank is the New York Times bestselling author of 20 novels. Her first novel, Sullivan’s Island (Berkley Publishing 2000) debuted at number 9 on the NYT bestsellers list, with over one million copies in print in ten foreign languages. Her subsequent novels in the popular Lowcountry series have all been NYT bestsellers.  Frank is also a nationally recognized volunteer fundraiser for the arts and education, and an advocate of literacy programs and women's issues. She lives in the New York City area with her husband.
