Grades K and up!
This program will last a minimum of 1 hour (maybe longer!) and will cover basic Entomology and anatomy, as well as a quick look at insect relatives (spiders, scorpions, etc).
We will get up close and personal with LIVE BUGS!
Discussion on ecology and the importance of insects, followed by defense strategies and life cycles will lead to some incredible displays of world-wide insects, many of which are the largest species in the world.
The audience will have a chance to pet a LIVE bug (or related critter).
Ryan Bridge has been involved with Entomology for over 40 years, especially with public outreach and education. He has been presenting insect education programs for groups of all ages.
Everyone loves insects... they just don’t know it yet!
